Situated near Scottburgh Beach and Park Rynie Beach, White House lodge in Scotburgh is in Scottburgh and features free private parking and a restaurant.

The newly installed aircons worked very well to fight the warm humid KZN December temperatures. Surely a bonus for our stay. Our 2 small dogs were safe in the yard and we could leave them without worrying that they will escape.

Featuring a garden, private pool and garden views, Peacehaven flat 208 is located in Scottburgh. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.

The location is absolutely stunning, but unfortunately, parking can be quite inconvenient. The decor in the lounge is beautiful and adds a lovely touch. It would be a nice touch to provide a small arrival package for guests, such as sugar sachets, coffee, and tea.

Sadly Scottburgh is not what it used to be.

Sadly Scottburgh is not what it used to be. Like the rest of the Country it is badly run by the municipality and the neglect is showing. However, given the state of most of the coastal 'holiday' towns, Scottburgh is holding it's own.

Scottburgh beach is very quit, small beach.

Scottburgh beach is very quit, small beach. The water though is very sandy, not clear. There is a large high tide pool. What's a bit different and dossapointing compared to the other beaches close by is that there is not visible policing on the beach itself. There was a stop and check policing road block just before the beach. I also could not see any beach guides or life guards at 3pm. The pizza place Enzo pizzeria was absolutely amazing! We will visit again but traveling to other beaches with more to offer is at least 25/30km

Service in Restaurant is non existent.

Service in Restaurant is non existent. Even after complaining multiple times, and it was escalated, I was not contacted by a superior. The room I booked was supposed to have an ocean view, but didn’t. And again after complaining about it nothing was done The aircon in the room was also below standard

It is an old seaside town favoured for retirement estates.

It is an old seaside town favoured for retirement estates. It works very well despite its appearance of the need for an upgrade. The people are very friendly and extremely helpful. Great sea views and beach experiences. It is central for many outings nearby - crocodiles, Golf courses, heritage site in Umdoni/Pennington. Very relaxed atmosphere. Beware of the frequent power outages and the traffic chaos for New Year's Day.

Lovely small town vibe with friendly people.

Lovely small town vibe with friendly people. Jawitz estate agency was very helpful and friendly. I was invited to join a seniors beach walk where i had opportunity to meet the local community. The walk was 2km and ended with a sponsored coffee at the Blue Marlin Hotel. The hotel anf Jawitz sponsored coffee. I had delicious lemon meringue at olive cow coffee shop. Great home industry shop. I achieved what I set out to...a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the craziness of Durban.

The house has good security with cameras and a remote operated sliding gate at the entrance to the house. The beautiful green trees surrounding the house made me 'feel at home' rather than in a 'hotel'. The hosts are lovely people who ensured that I was happy with everything. The shopping center is only a 5 minute drive.

It was nostalgic as we grew up in the area passing the hotel and finally decided to stay over on a trip to Durban. Rooms were large with a lovely sea view. Cool sea breeze to help with the Scottburgh heat. Staff were friendly. They made an effort to arrange our meals as we have dietary requirements.
