Our stay at Theebos in the Strand during the South African Junior Closed Chess Championships was an incredibly positive experience. The hosts were warm and accommodating, allowing our students and their parents to join us at the venue for preparation sessions. This thoughtful gesture greatly enhanced our team's focus and readiness for the event. The peaceful and comfortable setting provided the perfect atmosphere for both rest and study, making it an ideal base for our preparations. We are grateful for the hospitality and support extended to us during this important time.

    We have stayed for a long weekend in Melkbosstrand and for the past 5 years each January in Strand. The area around Strand and the beach is nice, even though it can get very busy - it is a nice place to stay and lots of things to do.

    The beach was very pleasant and nice for my grandchidren who enjoyed the beach They also enjoyed the waterworld on the beach, There are great shopping malls in Strand and many convenient stores for the odd things you may require. The people in Strand are mostly very friendly and it was a pleasure going around checking out different places

    Beautiful beaches that are clean and safe.

    Beautiful beaches that are clean and safe. There is a lot of space to relax, take part in activities and for children to play. Facilities such as restaurants and cafes are easily accessible and of high quality. Alongside the beach is a wide walkway perfectly maintained. And don't forget the stunning sunsets. Getting around is easy. Uber is fast and offers clean and safe rides.

    Shower panel was out in the room, no towels in our room.

    Shower panel was out in the room, no towels in our room. Water in the shower was not running away quickly in the other room we also booked. Dishes was dirty we had to re wash then. We als had to ask foe dishwasher. Coffee was bad and too little. Lighting was poor during load shedding.

    I was only there for a few hours. so I didn't spend enough time to review the place accurately. It was clean and felt safe. The restaurant Bossa was well situated and had a lovely view. Good service and vibe. Lovely scenery from the beach. Good roads and signboards on the way.

    Low cost and available and reasonable location to other restaurants and facilities at Strand and Gordon's bay. Have fantastic view and sunsets and long board and beach walks. Excellent clean beach cleaned regularly.

    The exceptional cleanliness of both rooms was a big plus. One of the rooms that we occupied was especially comfortable. I think it was a studio; with a little lounge in addition to the bedroom. The other was small, but adequate. The hotel staff helped with everything that we asked for, and the restaurant staff were great.
