Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape is a working boutique wine and olive farm located in the heart of Tulbagh’s Valley of Abundance.

Kim and Justin were the perfect hosts - welcoming and accommodating. We loved the luxurious fire-lit room, amazing views of the vineyards and mountains, hot tub under the stars, and tranquility. The room was amazing, with everything you need. Loved Daphne's Bistro located conveniently on the estate, and hiring the mountain bikes was a bonus. We will be back!

Featuring garden views, Lemberg Wine Estate in Tulbagh features accommodations and a garden.

We had a lovely stay at Lemberg Estate. The rooms were comfortable and very quietly on the vineyard. We loved the included wine tasting. The wines were excellent and we bought a few bottles for our journey.

I liked the view of the property. Nature just brings out the best out of me. Me and my partner loved the quietness of location and the dam that was the cherry on the cake.

It's a nice small town, very safe and friendly locals. The drive there is beautiful and the surrounding mountains bring a sense of calm. If you're a wine lover you can visit the many surrounding wine farms.

    Tulbagh is a hidden gem.

Tulbagh is a hidden gem. My son and husband had a wonderful hiking experience! Me and my son paid a well established winery a visit and we were blown away by the way we were received and served. Beautiful environment! Twee Jonge gesellen and Manley wine estate not to be missed

Tulbagh, has an interesting History and the Church St Museum...

Tulbagh, has an interesting History and the Church St Museum walk is a good interesting morning. There’s also a good walk up to a waterfall just outside town that gives access to a good view and some rock pools for bathing. If you want to chill out then staying on an Estate such as Rijks where we stayed is a good option as you are self contained with services to hand. There are also a couple of nice restaurants in Tulbagh town. A couple of days is probably enough time to see the area unless you have plans and need a base for a longer duration.

I was only there for one night and for work, so I didn't have much time. I had supper at the Olive Terrace Restaurant, the service and the food was good. It was quite hot in Tulbagh during my stay. There are quite a bit of people trying to solicit money or food from tourists, however, no one was aggressive and I never felt unsafe. The artist Antoinette, has an art studio in the main road with lovey artwork on sale, I bought some beautiful greeting cars with her original work printed on them.

The surrounding Mountains, valley and farmlands of Tulbagh...

The surrounding Mountains, valley and farmlands of Tulbagh are absolutely beautiful. The wine and olive farms are very scenic and offer wine and olive tastings. Most farms have a lovely area to relax under the trees and bird watch, wine taste and just to take in the beautiful country-side.

We ate at Heroldt's and watched rugby.

We ate at Heroldt's and watched rugby. Friendly and good service. Excellent pizzas. Reasonable prizes. We had breakfast at Kole en Deeg. Great sandwiches especially the Karoo and Rageltjie. Also great coffee and very good prizes. Tulbagh is closed to Gouda where we watched a show at the Gouda Hotel/Theatre. Nature is beautiful and historic buildings

We loved staying in the Tulbagh hotel. Of the 3 rooms booked for the family, all were unique with different layouts, furnishings and personal touches. The hotel offered a homely feeling while still providing all the services expected of a hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location excellent. All our needs were met. Thank you Tulbagh Boutique Hotel.
