The quietly located Hotel Orangerie is just 100 metres from the Längenfeldgasse and Meidling Hauptstraße Underground Stations. Free high-speed WiFi in all areas. The room was tiny, but clean. The mattress was super soft. Though who likes hard ones will not enjoy it. The bathroom has bare minimum of necessary stuff. It’s 7 minutes walk from the nearest subway, which takes you whatever you want. There’re also eateries, shops and bakeries not far from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Re-opened in April 2015 after a complete renovation, Seminarhotel Springer Schlößl enjoys a quiet location in a scenic, protected park a 12-minute walk from Schönbrunn Palace. The location is perfect. Breakfast really tasty. The room is big enough and very clean. I would for sure go back another time.

The garden hotel Altmannsdorf is located in a very quiet part of the district Meidling and impresses with its view of a unique garden. Very nice place, good location and value for money. We could also see the deers and the ducks. Since we were there for Christmas, we didn't need to pay for the parking either.

Situated in different locations in Vienna's 12th district around the Meidlinger Market, 1.4 km from Raimund Theatre, grätzlhotel Schönbrunn features suites with free WiFi. Although a little way out of the centre of Vienna, the location was right next to the metro (2.5 Euro to the centre of Vienna, 10 minutes) and 10 minutes walk away from the train station (25 minute direct link from airport at 5 Euro each way) There were great restaurants and a food market across the street with a large supermarket, 2 minutes walk away The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable Don't be put off by the outside appearance, it's an old confectionery shop. Highly recommend

Amazing breakfast buffet! Omelets made to order daily, huge selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, yogurt, etc. They have a coffee machine for cappuchino, tea, hot chocolate and expresso. There is a fresh homemade coffee cake or danish each day besides the rolls and 3 types of bread. Many types of fresh or packaged jams, honey, raisins, etc. You will not be hungry for lunch any time soon after this breakfast. Each room has a hairdryer hardwired in the bathroom and accessible outlets for charging your phone. There is no outlet in the bathroom but I don't use a curling iron so this was no problem. There is an outlet near a full length mirror so anyone could use this. I like the European way of having the toilet in a separate room from the shower so there's no need to wait to use it. Even though the hotel is located in a city neighborhood, because the rooms and reception are located in a privatecourtyard, there is not any noticeable noise. Windows can be opened if you want fresh air. Hotel provides info on the City Pass for attractions, museums, palace, and transportation. I was visiting family so I didn't avail myself of the pass but it looks like a good deal. We stayed 5 nights in September 2022 and paid $600 which I found extremely reasonable considering you are staying in a major city. I pay more for a stay at a Holiday Inn Express in the US with only a basic breakfast.

This non-smoking 3-star hotel in the district of Meidling is located just 3-minute walk from Am Schöpfwerk Underground Station, and Vienna’s city centre can be reached in 15 minutes. Room was very clean, big and nice. Close to the hotel was Penny, backery and UBahn station. Parking slots are available for guests for 15 EUR per day.

First we couldn't enter the hotel, but only because we tried to scan the QR code too close, and it didn't let us in. I called the phone number, and she was very kind and helpful. She immediately sent a new code and gave instructions and we could successfully enter the building and room, too. Room was very clean and looked nice.
