Motel One Basel asub Baselis, arhitektuurimuuseumist 100 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on baar ja tasuta WiFi. Kõikides tubades on konditsioneer ja lameekraaniga televiisor. The location of Motel one Basel is extraordinary. When I first looked at Google Maps, I thought it was good, but when I arrived and saw it in person, it was out of this world. The doors of the lobby literally opened up onto Barfusserplatz. I might be slightly exaggerating with my descriptions but as I was there during the Christmas Markets, it literally felt like stepping out of my house directly into such a lively market, and that was perfect. The rooms was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, he provided an adaptor (I didn't have the Swiss adaptor) and also helped to exchange my large denomination CHF for smaller notes too. Service was always with a smile, nothing like Swiss Hospitality!

Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. I loved the room- it was exceptionally cozy, impeccably clean, and pleasantly warm. The breakfast was excellent, and the central location was ideal.
