This historic hotel is located in the lovely garden surrounding Binningen Castle, only 5 tram stops from Basel's main train station and the city centre. Very convenient location to stay a few days in Basel. A little bit out of the centre of Basel, but excellent access to the city using public transport, which comes for free with the guest card. Covered free parking across the road. This must be the 4th time we have stayed here. Very friendly staff.

The same family also runs a Lebanese restaurant attached to the accommodation with delicious food that is also quite cheap for Switzerland. The owner is very friendly, attentive, accommodating and takes good care of his guests. The holiday apartments are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing or not in order, the owner will take care of it and remedy the situation or offer another solution. The apartments are spotless clean, cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We felt very comfortable. By paying the tourist tax you receive a ticket that entitles you to unlimited use of public transport in Basel and the entire Northwest Switzerland tariff association, so you can also get to Basel Airport with it.
