A lovely and special hotel, the staff is happy to provide service, the hotel is really clean and decorated and we received lovely and special service

Motel One Basel is located in Basel, 100 metres from the Architectural Museum. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and benefit from free WiFi access. The location of Motel one Basel is extraordinary. When I first looked at Google Maps, I thought it was good, but when I arrived and saw it in person, it was out of this world. The doors of the lobby literally opened up onto Barfusserplatz. I might be slightly exaggerating with my descriptions but as I was there during the Christmas Markets, it literally felt like stepping out of my house directly into such a lively market, and that was perfect. The rooms was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, he provided an adaptor (I didn't have the Swiss adaptor) and also helped to exchange my large denomination CHF for smaller notes too. Service was always with a smile, nothing like Swiss Hospitality!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Great Hotel. Very helpful staff. Free coffee and tea.
