The Merian Basel Hotel is situated right on the river Rhine, in the heart of Basel, offering you charming rooms. The location was perfect. Easy access to the river, Congress and food. The decoration is practical and has all that we need including a fan. The lounge’s simple coffee, croissant and apple is just nice for breakfast. The hotel offer free Basel pass to use the public transport. My friend forget her wallet with cards and some foreign currencies in the safe. We contacted the staff and they kept it for us and it was returned with everything still intact. Thank you for your professionalism and integrity. We are very grateful. 🙏🏻

I really loved the property! Clean and comfortable with an amazing central location and a phenomenal view of the Rhine River. Everything we needed was there: good mattresses, a cozy living room, and a shower with great water pressure. Coffee and tea were provided, and the apartment itself was beautifully designed and well-maintained. The self-check-in was very easy, clear information was provided upfront and when I had a question, I could send a whatsapp and got immediate reply.
