They were excellent; offered me earlier Chech in at 10am at very short notice without any extra charges. Very close to the train station and downtown. Very cute rom, small but nice. Our free welcome drink turned into a free bottle of beautiful wine with bread and charcuterie.

Located in the centre of Bern, Hotel National is only a 5-minute walk from the Main Train Station. Guests can dine in the restaurant and make use of free Wi-Fi. We got upgraded which was lovely. We were warned that there would be a bit of team noise but that did not bother us. Clean comfortable bad and warm. The receptionist that we dealt with mostly, Anna was exceptional, so welcoming and obviously gifted at remembering names. She made the stay even better

We made fondue 2x and did not have a problem cooking that or breakfast every morning.
