Hotel Spitzhorn in Saanen is a modern chalet built in 2013, featuring wooden interiors, spacious rooms with balcony or terrace, free WiFi, a pool and a spa area. Everything was more than perfect and comfortable. The staff were great and kind … big and special thanks to Mr. Michael, Mr. Drake, Mr. Joachim and the Mrs. who helped me with the check-in process. I wish I could give them seven stars. Thanks

Everything, we have been regular guests since ages, this place is simply awesome. In fact, we even fear to share our impressions for a simple fact of possible overcrowding. 🙂 Let’s get serious, everything here is just great, but the staff and our favorite dj Besford, exceed the experience expectations!

Enjoying a quiet and slightly elevated position on the edge of Saanen, the 2014 newly-built Youth Hostel offers healthy local cuisine and free WiFi. Best youth hostel in switzerland. BEST !!!

The charming Landhaus hotel right in the heart of Saanen, which is only 2 km away from Gstaad, offers you beautiful country-style guest rooms and tasty Swiss specialities. I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 nights here.Wonderful ,cheerful and helpful front desk staff ,restaurant staff and room cleaning staff.Bed ,linens,towels,bathroom-all high quality. Breakfast had many healthy options,including freshly made breads , cereals ,fish,dried fruits ,nuts,soft-boiled eggs,cheeses,home-made fruit jams and daily-made fruit cocktail( it was NOT from a can!) .I also appreciated that they made me a soy cappuccino every morning. The hotel was 35% of the price of comparable hotels in Gstaad,a quick 4 -minute train ride away.The train ran hourly but the buses ran every 10/15 minutes-so never a problem . The train stop (Saanen) is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Saanen is much more authentic a town than Gstaad,and more interesting. Next to the hotel is a small farmers market-type store selling fruits,vegetables,nuts,grains-everything,really. I slept with the windows open every night-it was that quiet. Lovely pace! Excellent base from which to sample the various ski runs nearby.

Cosy and very clean apartment right at the Saanen train station and within a couple of minutes walking to the center of the village. Very well equipped kitchen and tastefully decorated living room. The exchange with the lady who manages the chalet and hands out the keys was very pleasant.
