The hotel is quiet, the room was incredible and clean and everything was thought of. the beds were so comfortable. the balcony was incredible to sit on. Breakfast is great, dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious. I just loved this hotel and can't wait to return.

Piccolo Hotel stojí na klidném místě, 8 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží Locarno a centra města. Nabízí pokoje s vlastní koupelnou, částečně s balkonem a bezplatným Wi-Fi. The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the railway station and the lake. It had a wonderful old world feel to it. The staff were most helpful and friendly. A superb breakfast was served.

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. Great location, can access train/bus easily. Generous breakfast, staff very accommodating (thanks for letting me borrow a phone charger) and provided Ticino pass enabling free public transport travel for period of stay.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!
