The newer home was right on the beach and well furnished with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future!

Our stay at Vaiakura couldn’t have been better. Stayed with partner and two kids (17 & 14). The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable. And what a setting! Set right on the sand, it was a daily delight to sit on the deck and enjoy the picture postcard view. Raewyn and her son Rhett were fantastic hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the free access to kayaks and snorkelling gear and thoroughly enjoyed the company of their three dogs and the two cats. They have created a small swimming spot out front of their property and can snorkel out the front - even better snorkelling just 150m up the beach.

Excellent facilities, very carefully thought out. Bungalows are equipped with everything we needed and more. The west facing orientation is perfect, catching the morning sun on the water to really accentuate the colours of the ocean, and the watching the sunsets from one of the hammock is just bliss.

The facility was outstanding as well as the beautiful family and area. Everything was worth the price. They even included wifi which was the best. Overall, amazing experience.

The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything. We were able to store our bags earlier in the property as we arrived early in the morning. The Studio was clean and had everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend it more!
