The location was excellent. The various amenities also felt modern. I found the laundry convenient, as did a number of other guests who I met while waiting for a load to complete. Located along the historic Qintai Path, Chengdu Wenjun Mansion Hotel (Kuanzhai Xiangzi Branch) is decorated in a traditional Chinese style, a 5-minute walk from Tonghuimen Subway Station (Line 2). This hotel is well maintained, has a great location (the street is beautiful, and also fairly close to the city center, and a metro station), and spacious rooms (it is not easy to find a big enough room for a family of 5). Food is also good, both for breakfast and in the restaurant for lunch or dinner (a lot of locals eat there, and the restaurant deservingly has a high rating on Dianping and Baidu Ditu). However, the main plus for us who still didn’t master Chinese language is the fact that stuff here speaks very good English. And I must emphasize the importance of that for all of you who are visiting this beautiful civilization state for the first time, and you do not know the language. The stuff is very accommodating and knowledgeable, and they can help you do anything: from organizing your visits to tourist attractions and getting local SIM card, to giving useful advises and suggestions, or ordering something for you from the Internet.
