Staff is so sweet and the breakfast is the best we have had in South America.

Spacious clean room with comfortable bed. Great location with no outside noise. Air conditioning was great and well needed. The rooftop patio was nice, breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here

This boutique hotel is situated in the Getsemani neighbourhood of Cartagena de Indias. It has a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, and offers air-conditioned guestrooms with free WiFi. We loved our three days at Casa Canabal in the bustling Getsemani district. From the moment we arrived when we were greeted with refreshing drink, to the moment we left, this was an oasis of calm and unexpected luxury. The breakfast is excellent, with eggs to order alongside fresh fruit and the usual continental offerings. All fresh and delicious! The staff, Alfonso, Juan, Freddie were super helpful, nothing too much trouble. Reception (sorry I forgot their names!) beyond kind and welcoming. The room itself was spacious and the bed luxurious. Bathroom was spa-like and exceptionally clean. The rooftop was a welcome relief in the stifling heat of Cartegena and we were glad to take a dip in the pool and rest in the shade. When you step out of the door, it's a colourful, noisy, festival atmosphere and yet none of this permeates the calm, quiet of the hotel. Cannot recommend Casa Canabal highly enough. It was a real treat for us at the end of our travels.

Beautiful hostel, one of the best I’ve ever been. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed is very comfortable and the bathrooms are big and also clean. It feels like home. The common area is so cozy, the pool is very nice especially to fresh up after a hot day outside. Also, it is really well located, 10 min walking from the historical center and in the middle of Getsemani district. Nightlife is also good, there are a few nice clubs really close to the hostel. I’m just sad that I’ve been there for only a night, but I would definitely come back!

Very very good beds!! Shower and airco (very much needed) were perfect. Staff was helpful and we could leave our luggage overnight while visiting the islands. Location was great

The Hotel La Magdalena is located in the heart of Getsemaní, one of the liveliest neighborhoods appreciated by tourists in the captivating city of Cartagena. The photos don’t do it justice. This place was so so nice and so so cheap, 100% stay here if you can

Set in a picturesque colonial-style building, GHL Collection Armería Real features a swimming pool, a spa, and a restaurant. It is located only a 10-minute drive from Bocagrande’s beaches. We stayed in the duplex room and it's one of the nicest rooms we had in our whole visit. Really large and really well equiped, very clean and just generally great. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel itself is really nice and we used the terrace and rooftop pool with a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful and looked after our bags after we checked out. The breakfast was decent, although not the best we had. It's a good location for visiting the old town.
