This 4-star hotel is part of an exclusive health club in Hamburg’s Uhlenhorst district, a 5-minute walk from the Alster Lake. We returned to Aspria Uhlenhorst because we loved the fact that this hotel is attached to a first rate gym/spa/sports center in a very nice neighborhood near the center and the Alster lake. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. There is a soccer/hockey field in front of the building, on top of the garage, and there are also four tennis courts, four pools and a bunch of beach volleyball fields. The upscale area Uhlenhorst/Winterhude offers dozens of diverse restaurants and many interesting shops in walking distance. The center is about ten minutes by bike or car.
