We were stranded in Lübeck for NY 2023 with a punctured tire. The hotel took great care of us, the staff were just brilliant! The breakfast was delicious and the bar was cosy. The room keys were wooden, that was neat. The hotel is in a fantastic location for walking into the beautiful Old Town.

Renovated in 2015 and offering a terrace and views of the garden, Herrenhaus Hohewarte is located in the St Gertrud district in Lübeck. We liked everything about this property. The apartment is in a beautiful heritage home. It is fully equipped. Dagmar is a superb host. The location is very special - surrounded by allotments with vegetable, fruit and flower gardens. Close to the river. Close to the beautiful city of Lubeck.

Very nice host let us to leave the luggage in the living room and let his employees secure our luggage in his garage. When we checked in again back to the apartment. Our luggage is already in the living room. What a great service! What a generous host ! If the highest level of service is 5 stars, I will give him 6 !

The apartment is great and has everything needed for a long stay. It is big, good natural light all over, in a very calm neighborhood and has all supermarket at the end of the street, you choose what you prefer (ALDI, LIDL, REWE, etc). One good extra: the bed is very comfortable. Chris is a great host, very responsive and very nice. I enjoyed a lot my days in Lübeck, I was working remotely (the wifi worked perfectly and fast) and still was able to enjoy the daylight several times going by bus to the city center, it takes 10min.

Beds are comfy and you have two types of pillows to chose from.
