We were surprised by the quality of the hotel. Not only for a room in perfect condition, but for general cleanliness, an excellent quality restaurant and very attentive service staff.

Þessi orlofsdvalarstaður er staðsettur á Upper Sauerland-svæðinu. Gestir geta nýtt sér ókeypis afnot af Aqua Mundo-vatnagarðinum sem er með öldulaug, vatnsrennibrautum og leikherbergi. Had a great time! Place was large and most of all very light due to all the large windows. Great view. Decorated in modern colours. (It has a Dutch feel to it). Checking in was very efficient via a booth in the parking area. A plastic green "watch" with a chip functions as a key to the cottage, the swimmingpool, the spa, the lockers and as a wallet for paying for drinks or items in the shops. We booked a place for 4, just for the two of us, however, it would have also hosted 4 people easily. We hosted a brief gathering of 9 people without a problem. It had two spacious bathrooms including a comfortable shower. The Swimmingpool is fun, more for families with children than for couples who need a rest or want to swim longer distances. However, the tropical surroundings and the warm temperatures gave it a comfortable feeling. The spa is more for couples. It has a good number of different saunas and a salt room. (Bring your own soap). The spa costs extra but it is worth it. Going for dinner is possible too. Despite the large crowds, we received our food fairly quickly. Cooking is no problem. The kitchen comes well-equipped. The centre also has a supermarket with a small bakery. The animation team got everyone dancing and singing, the kids screaming. Hilarious to watch. The setting, in the middle of a large green park but not too far from the village, is just perfect. In short, we had a great time.

Hotel Medebach er staðsett aðeins 15 km fyrir utan Winterberg-svæðið vinsæla og býður upp á hjónaherbergi með klassískum innréttingum. Local diner at the hotel was very good. Breakfast also top. And of course the owner!

Located 20 km from Kahler Asten and 17 km from St.-Georg-Schanze in the centre of Medebach, Ferienwohnung Parkblick Medebach provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. It's a great, comfortable and nicely furnished apartment. very close to the Center Parc. Very well equipped kitchen, great selection of kid's toys and games, Cozy living room with a fireplace. Very friendly and welcoming hosts! We haven't used the terrace but it looks like it woul be great in the summer.

Fachwerkhaus im Sauerland - Goldhase Anno 1700 er staðsett í miðbæ Medebach, 21 km frá Kahler Asten og býður upp á verönd og grillaðstöðu.

Zum Sauerländer Altstadt er gististaður í Medebach, 18 km frá St.-Georg-Schanze og 19 km frá Mühlenkopfschanze. Þaðan er útsýni yfir borgina. Ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis bílastæði eru í boði við íbúðina. It was clean and everything was available in the apartment like you don’t have to take anything with you! From kitchen stuff to towels, blankets! From cleaning stuff to board games! Located in a calm small street but in few seconds you are on the main street which takes you directly to winterberg (14 km). The welcome cake was on the table:) Nice hosts!

Friendly, supportive, and thoughtful host, we’re feeling welcomed. The house is super children friendly, our kids can play in the garden as well. There's a supermarket and petrol station in walking distance. The location is great. Private parking with roof is great for guests with a car :-)

Very well equipped and spacious apartment, at the (quiet) edge of the town, but still within 5 minutes of the center. Two things to keep in mind: 1) There's one bedroom, so if you need more than one, this may not be your best bet. 2) As it is in/on the lower level of the building, the entrance is reached via an outdoor stairway. If you have a problem with stairs, or are tied to a wheelchair, this will definitely not be your best choice. Other than that, this is a great place to stay - perfect for us/ a couple - and we will book it again for our next visit.
