Set near the Gambetta Métro station, in the city centre of Lille, this hotel-restaurant welcomes you 1 km from the Fine Arts Museum, 2 km from Lille Grand Palais and 300 metres from the Maison Folie... Rooms are good and comfortable, the shower was really great and the window did a very good job keeping the outside noise to a minimum. Also, staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent! I found it to be strategically located due to being walking distance to the University and right in front of the Gambetta station, so it worked wonders! thanks Brit Hotel (:

The location was right near the metro which made it really easy to get around. The market is just down the street. It was easy to walk to and interesting to see.

Hostess was kind and offered a warm welcoming in her home, the bed is comfortable and lovely after a whole day in Lille. The home is also wheelchair proof and there is a nice dog walking around, lovely if you're an animal lover. I would definitely recommend this, in a busy area near the inner city. Also the metrostation is very close!
