Fantastic location. We were traveling by bicycle from Cluny. The hotel is just north of city off the bike trail and a bus line. They provided a safe place for our bicycles. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.

They provided the best breakfast with many elements home cooked. They were knowledgable and approachable and had excellent English. Highly recommend.

Le Marietton appartement cosy à deux pas du métro Valmy offers accommodations in Lyon, 2.4 miles from the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon and 2.5 miles from Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere. The location is not right in the center of things, but it is only about a 2 mile walk into the main part of town, or the metro and bus are very easy to navigate. The neighborhood has everything you need, grocery stores, food and drink and proximity to the Saone river for walking, running or cycling can't be beat. The place was quiet, and I found a great boulangerie within only a one minute walk. There were plenty of kitchen amenities like dishes, pots and pans, and even scissors and a wine opener. The owner was very nice, responded quickly and even checked in during the middle of my stay to make sure things were going well. The bed was firm, just like I like it and I slept very well in this apartment!
