Located on Fourvière Hill in Lyon and offering panoramic views over the city, Villa Maïa features an indoor heated swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam room and a fitness room. Francois is one of the best concierge that I have met in my travels by now; and overall the staff was very friendly, with a lot of attention to details. The city-view room was absolutely breathtaking at sunrise.

Villa Florentine is located in the heart of Old Lyon with panoramic views of the city. This former convent offers elegant guest rooms, a 24-hour reception and free WiFi throughout. Staff were wonderful. Great breakfast. Heated pool and saunas were brilliant.

Offering a year-round heated outdoor pool, Fourvière Hôtel is located on Fourvière Hill above the Old Town of Lyon, offering views over the city. The hotel has a sun terrace, hot tub and hammam. Very friendly staff, beautiful building with unique architecture. Plenty of space to relax, loved how they used the halls as seating/eating venues.

Located in the Old Town in central Lyon, Collège Hôtel has an original school-theme décor. There is a drinking water fountain provided on the ground floor. Free WiFi access is provided. The hotel is very sweet with it’s school theme. Great location. The terrace is so wonderful to relax at after a long day of walking and eating. Views are lovely.

Le Phénix Hôtel is located in the old town of Lyon and offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. It is 100 metres from the nearest bus stop that leads to the city centre. Hotel’s location is on the outer edge of the old quarter- accessible without the high traffic & noise of the old quarter. We had a river-view room which greatly enhanced our appreciation of Lyon. Hotel decor is Scandinavian modern, in contrast to the traditional architecture.
