Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya se nachází v atraktivní lokalitě ve čtvrti Shibu Onsen v destinaci Jamanouči. Opičí park Džigokudani se nachází 3 km daleko, Lyžařský areál Ryuoo 12 km a Zoo Suzaka 24 km. We stayed at many ryokans on our trip. None came close to Yamazakiya. The host family are friendly beyond belief, always smiling, always helpful. We got a free pick-up from the train, drop-off to the train and round trip to the snow monkey park. The place is cute, we had a huge room with fluffy, comfy tatami beds and a sitting area. Everyone got yukatas to wear around the house. It's a small place with two private onsens and we were easily able to book both for an hour for our group of four, giving us the chance to try two different rooms. We had messaged ahead to book dinner (good English spoken), a vegetarian option was no problem and my, what a treat we got. It must have been 10+ little courses, fine dining at its best. All around, highly, highly recommended! If you enter through the front door, don't forget to take a stroll out the back door - it leads straight onto the village's main street, filled with many cute, ancient houses. A few weeks after coming home, we had a hand-written thank-you card from Yudanaka Onsen in the mail. How sweet is that? Seriously, 10/10 and absolutely unbeatable hospitality.

Minshuku Miyama se nachází v destinaci Jamanouči a nabízí pokoje s výhledem na hory. Jen 3 km odtud je Opičí park Džigokudani. Původní dřevěný ryokan s koupelnou a záchodem na chodbě. Pokoj byl prostorný, ale byl slyšet každý pohyb z vedlejsiho pokoje nebo i chodby. Je zde krásný venkovnu onsen a možnost parkování

Daymaruya Ryokan nabízí termální koupele a ubytování v tradičním japonském stylu s bezplatným kabelovým připojením k internetu. Very spacious and beautifully presented rooms in traditional Ryokan in the middle of Shibu Onsen. Comfortable Tatami beds. Great to have private toilet. The onsite outdoor private Onsen and inside (male/female) onsens were fantastic. Loved the supplied Yukata and Geta for the Onsens. Key supplied for all public onsens through town. The owners were so helpful and kind, driving us to and from snow monkeys and to Yudanaka station for our train. Enjoyed the traditional home made breakfast delivered to our room at reasonable price in beautiful bento box.

Shibu Hotel se nachází 8 minut jízdy bezplatnou kyvadlovou dopravou od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka a nabízí volně přístupné termální koupele, společné vnitřní i venkovní termální koupele a tradiční... Great location, they collected us from the train station, and dropped us up to snow monkey park and collected us. Dropped us back to the train station when we were leaving

Suminoyu se nachází ve čtvrti Shibu s horkými prameny a nabízí vnitřní i venkovní termální koupele. Na požádání jsou k dispozici masáže a pro větší relaxaci je k dispozici také vana na nohy. We booked this place primarily for its proximity to the snow monkey park, but were absolutely delighted by the accommodations. They picked us up from the bus station upon arrival, dropped us off at the park, and had our luggage delivered to a cafe across from the train station which made arrival/departure so easy. The staff were exceptional - kind, accommodating, and polite (and spoke excellent English). The meals were yummy and filling. The ryokan is next to a street of onsens which they give you a special key to access, but we felt the onsen in this ryokan was the best (and obviously most convenient) - there is a spacious and clean indoor onsen, as well as a smaller open air onsen (it was magical sitting in it while it snowed). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Onyado Hishiya Torazo se nachází v oblasti horkých pramenů Shibu a nabízí ubytování v japonském stylu. The owner is amazing! He is so friendly and great at explaining everything, including a map to the 9 public bath houses in town and restaurant recommendations. He made a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast for us. The private bath outside is beautiful - I wish we could've stayed longer. If we're ever back in the area we'll try to stay with him first.

Sakaeya se nachází v centru termální oblasti Shibu, 5 minut jízdy od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka. Nabízí ubytování v japonském stylu. Beautiful boutique-feeling ryokan with really wonderful staff. We celebrated two birthdays and I was able to coordinate the delicious cakes over email. They even helped us take a photo and printed it out so we all had a little souvenir <3 So thoughtful! The rooms and building were lovely, as was the outdoor onsen. We did the private onsen experience too which was a little extra, but worth it especially to spend time with a partner. Food was tasty and yukatas were very pretty. Felt like a little dream.

Hotel Kokuya v japonském stylu nabízí komfortní pokoje, které se mohou pochlubit soukromou venkovní termální koupelí a bezplatným připojením k internetu. Every single moment was perfect. The facilities (all of the private onsens!!) were fantastic, the staff was simply oozing with kindness, and our room was out of dream.

Wafu-no-Yado MASUYA se nachází jen 5 minut autem od stanice Yudanaka. Nabízí krásné pokoje v japonském stylu, termální koupele a bezplatné Wi-Fi. The Kaiseki breakfast was delish and superb! They are able to cater to our request for Muslim i.e. no meat/pork/lard etc. And they served one of the must sumptuous meal for our breakfast! delish. The fish are fresh, tofu and miso soup. The private onsen experience was good! They made the futon bed for us. And you can walk at the alley for the onsen hopping. No we did not try any :) We had private onsen at Masuya only. They provide all the amenities for you to enjoy the onsen anyway! We stayed there for the Snow Monkey experience and they advised the right and best time to go upon our arrival.
