It was a delightful place to stay. The kitchenette and washer/dryer in our room added a touch of home, which we greatly appreciated. Although our visit was brief, just one night, the accommodations would be ideal for a longer stay, featuring quality appliances and tasteful furnishings. The location was convenient, boasting a well-stocked grocery store within the building. The views were spectacular from both our room and the hotel's 7th-floor "lobby." Additionally, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Situated right in front of Yamashita Park and looking out to the Yokohama Bay, Hotel New Grand is a renowned classic hotel with nearly a century of first-class hospitality. The staffs are nice and gave us a upgrade for a room with very nice view

The hotel was clean, new and the staff was wonderful. The front desk staff, breakfast/restaurant staff were all so friendly and helpful and all went above and beyond. My parents room was upgraded and they had a perfect view of the ship my grandmother traveled to America on in 1958. It was truly magical.

The room was comfortable and very clean in this newer hotel. The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the local area or further afield using the excellent train network.

It's a short walk to the Gundam Factory, I definitely think that should be a selling point for tourists. The walk there and back you can experience a wonderful park. The staff were helpful in multiple languages. The elevator speeds and response times were excellent. I enjoyed the express check out feature for simply depositing my room key on the entrance level after exiting the elevators.
