It is wery old hotel. Have museum inside. It was residental of the first England guverner. Everything is at this stile. Room are big, rare and in old manier. They are clining all the time but need complete renovier and thay start to do it. You can here ocean.

The hosts, Sam and Steph, are the most kind, welcoming people you could meet. The staff are very helpful, nothing was a problem for them. The Sri Lankan omelette for breakfast was the best I'd had in the three weeks of travelling the country. Mount Bay Guest House rooms have all that you would expect at more expensive hotels. All the boxes are ticked. A very comfortable stay.

Breakfast was very good. The Bungalow was clean and spacious. Caretaker Gunaseelan was friendly and humble. This is my second stay and would definitely come back again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas had a great vibe for meeting fellow travelers. I particularly loved the laid-back atmosphere and the sense of community at the hostel. Plus, the Wi-Fi was reliable, which made it easy for me to stay connected when needed. Overall, Colombo Beach Hostel offers fantastic value for money, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Colombo!
