Marcus not only recognized on check in that it was my birthday, he organized a small cake to the room, played a quick table soccer game with me and replied to every request with a big YES and a wide smile on his face. Coming back to the hotel after long walks in town felt like coming home with Marcus at the reception. Going forward visiting hotels will be all about the experience and making the property a destination. Innside by Meliá Luxembourg is well on track for this new phase in hospitality. People like Marcus make all the difference and should be treasured like gold! Thank you Marcus and great job Meliá management for focusing on your people the way you clearly do.

The apartment we ended up staying in was secure, safe, quiet and very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the access to the pool, gym, sauna and steam room - although admit that we were shocked that some residents use the sauna, steam room and showers associated with them naked 😳. Must be a cultural thing 🤷. It was nice to be able to use our connection to Netflix and watch shows in English; use a washing machine and dryer, as well as dish washer; plus, the little extras, like salt, pepper and sugar which were provided went a long way. Anyways, the ease of grocery shopping and the use of public transport was exceptional and we are incredibly happy that we stayed where we did. We are also exceptionally grateful for the assistance with getting a parking space as per our original request. Contacting the company was easy and their ability to provide results exceeded my expectations.
