Well situated in the Souika district of Chefchaouene, Riad Mauritania is set 300 metres from Kasba, 200 metres from Outa El Hammam Square and 500 metres from Mohammed 5 Square. This is the cleanest and most comfortable place I have ever stayed in Morocco, it is very cheap and clean, it is independent and one room to oneself, it is really better than other even expensive hotels I have stayed in Morocco. I was greeted by a boss with a big beard and a little fat. I could not speak English, but we used a translator throughout the whole process and even I made gestures with my hands and feet. He could understand my meaning

Nice decorated rooms, great breakfast, good price for what you get. Very satisfied and would recommend. Location is also great!

RIAD LA SANTA is situated in the Souika district of Chefchaouene, 300 metres from Outa El Hammam Square, 500 metres from Mohammed 5 Square and 1.4 km from Khandak Semmar. Perfect location in the very heart of Medina (old town), comfortable clean room, nice rooftop, and the host who is very friendly and helpful. The price is also very attractive (would say it’s too low). Strong recommendation for stay there!

Set in Chefchaouene, 200 metres from Kasba, Dar Swiar offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The room was clean and had an amazing view of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful that you cannot find it anywhere else. (Thank you again 😊)

Situated in Chefchaouene, 200 metres from Kasba, Casa Amina features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. Most amazing boutique hotel I’ve stayed at - it’s a labor of love with so much character. Book ahead as there are limited rooms available! Note this used to be a hostel many years ago but was completely revamped about a year or so ago into a beautiful boutique hotel. Decor: The coolest and most thoughtful place. Trust me when I say this place is a work of art! Everything is tastefully done. Service: Ossama was incredibly kind and helped us feel welcome. He also reached out prior to our stay to see if we needed any help - he is able to arrange private transfer between cities if needed for very reasonable rates, though I ended up opting for a group minivan. Food: Breakfast is also included and delicious. Four types of bread, sunny side up eggs, tomatoes, avocado, cucumber, cheese spread and various jams (fig, strawberry, mandarin). Had all the beverages - Pineapple juice, coffee, and the classic Moroccan mint tea. What an amazing breakfast spread! Location: It is in the heart of the blue city - only about 5 minutes walk from the iconic blue steps, though honestly, beautiful spots right outside the door step and everywhere you turn. Many shops nearby selling clothes, water, snacks, souvenirs; restaurants; etc. Very convenient. I’d recommend Restaurant Bab Ssour nearby for a sit down meal; Sandwich Chez Aziz nearby for a quick fast food bite; and Snack Touichar for a very authentic local fast food experience if you’re wandering towards the “new city” or headed towards the grand taxi station or CTM bus station. Many shops with fresh orange juice for 15-20 MAD. Accessibility: Note that the hotel is not directly accessible by car - it’s about a nearby 4 minute walk from the main road to the medina where the hotel is located. The rooms were located on the second floor so there is one level of stairs to climb up and the Medina/main blue city area has stairs leading up. No issues for the average person but not suitable for people who cannot walk up and down stairs.

Boasting a terrace and views of mountain, Dar Syraya is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Chefchaouene, 200 metres from Kasba. Excellent location! Othman, Bouteina and Yahya made it really comfortable and memorable for us. It is a really new property & perfectly placed at the start of the old Medina opposite Hotel Madrid. Thus, you don’t have to walk much with baggage to the Medina.
