The riad is situated in the medina, and is located in a small dark ally which can be hard to find. The staff were helpful and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. The rooms were large, combining traditional Moroccan décor with modern amenities. The this hotel does have som inspirations from traditional riads, but is a modern hotel. A great stay.

This luxurious hotel features a terrace with a heated outdoor pool with panoramic views of the Medina and the sea. It is just 400 metres from the beach, in central Essaouira. Wonderful, elegant, had a hard time leaving the hotel for sightseeing. Very refined, yet friendly place and helpful staff. Excellent rooms. High quality food. Would definitely stay there again.

The lovely, super hospitable owners and managers Chris and Craig The Riad was remodeled by them to an extremely upscale and tasteful standard Just opened in Sep 2024 - everything brand new Extremely tasteful, thought through and high-end interior and decoration Great location just behind the medina wall at the south-east corner in the medina with a few minutes’ walk to the parking place (if you have your own car as we had this is very handy) We loved our room on the upper floor with windows to the outside and to the atrium - a lot of day light in the room which is not common for Riads. Room was big and cozy at the same time. Great roof terraced. A clear top recommendation! Follow the recommendation of the owners for restaurants (we e.g. loved La Couple within a 15-minute walk) The riad is a perfect relaxed fit to the relaxed atmosphere of Essaouira. This is an easy return for us (we live in the NL and there are convenient flights to Essaouira)

The hotel: nice salon to use for work,reading, lill patio for smoking,great deco and art on the walls. The breakfast: terass with seaguls everywhere loved it loved it, had a nice view of the sea, staff are really nice, they served coffee ,orange juice (fresh), milk hot coco,mint tea, fried eggs, spong cake, bread, morrocan pancakes and mlawi, butter,cheese,jam,olive oil, Amlou! Price: 850 dh for 3 days 2 nights standard double room with a view of the old town. Thank you!

The hotel is located inside the fortified city of Essaouira. The hotel is a traditional riad built in the 18th century and it has been completely refurbished. This is a superb little hotel in the most tranquil corner of the old Kasbah of Essaouira - a unique crossroad of Berber, Arab, Jewish, and even a bit of Portuguese culture. The hotel's modest rooms are under-stated, elegant and well-designed. There is a lot of hot water. The terrace is a great place to work in the day. The breakfast is delicious and more than ample and served by friendly staff. The owner is kind and regularly present. The manager, Hamid, is able to answer a lot of travel questions in French and English. I hope to return.
