I was there off peak so the hotel was very quiet - I had the rooftop pool to myself, rather than a buffet breakfast they served whatever you wanted from a menu and on the last day they were kind enough to allow me a late check out. With an outdoor pool and a garden, GuestHouse 1109 is located in the centre of Maputo, 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers on suite accommodation and free WiFi throughout. An excellent find. Walking distance from the centre of town. Very clean and comfortable, good breakfast.
