The room was good, clean, will all that I needed for my stay (frigobar, kettle, desk) Wifi was OK Complimentary water was a life saver on arrival on a very hot day

While I was only staying one night, I felt right at home straight away thanks to the beautiful welcome from Imelda. My room was comfortable and quiet, with all the necessary amenities. Before I left, I had an amazing breakfast including tea straight from the garden! I would highly recommend Casa Quimera to other (solo) travellers. Thank you, Imelda!

Everything! starting from the greetings and entrance till small little cozy things, like garden in the bathroom and decoration in lounge area. The guest house is much brighter and cozy than it appears on a photo. Breakfast is something beyond describing it, the variety of cakes and pies makes it whole gastronomic journey. Host is very friendly and keen on a good advise. Safe and secure place with gated parking and guard always on site. The only place to stay in Maputo.

The host was right there waiting for me at the building, all calm and collected, ready to help me get settled. I mean, who does that? I felt like royalty being personally escorted to my room. And then I see the bank right at the entrance—security for days! 24-hour protection, thanks to the bank next door, and I swear, it felt like I was checking into a luxury safe house. No chance of shady business here; you could probably drop your wallet outside and find it returned with a note saying “You’re welcome.” The host? Total MVP. They gave me directions for everything—grocery stores, restaurants, places to visit—it was like having my own concierge service. Made my life a breeze! The apartment itself? Super quiet, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring Maputo (or pretending you’re living in a bank heist movie). And did I mention how secure it was? Seriously, James Bond would approve. So yeah, if you’re thinking of visiting Maputo, book this place. Great vibes, amazing host, security so tight you could sleep with your front door open (but don’t, obviously). Would I stay here again? You bet. And I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys peace, convenience, and feeling like a VIP spy in their downtime!
