Short walk to nice beach “Balneario El Escambrón.” (Walk to right as you exit the building, then turn left on C. San Agustín.) Excellent beer and wine at Ambrosia Fine Wines https://ambrosiafinefoods.net/ a block to the right as you head out the main entrance, at intersection of C. Martín Fernández. (It recently opened so it’s not on Google Maps.) It was an easy cheap Uber to the cruise port.

Enjoy stunning views of the San Juan Bay and easy access to historic sites and local attractions at Hotel Rumbao, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The location was perfect right in the heart of old San Juan. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff went out of teir way to help us and make our stay pleasant especially when our flight was cancelled.

Featuring local artwork and a relaxing terrace, this Old San Juan hotel is less than 3 km from the Castillo de San Cristobal. An honor bar is located inside the hotel. Rooms are unique and historic. Beautiful courtyard and terrace on the roof. Bathroom was very nice and clean. Location is perfect.

This hotel is located in the heart of historic Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Hotel guests will receive beach privileges at the El Convento Beach Club on Isla Verde Beach. Beautiful building in fabulous location - easy to walk to many places, very helpful polite staff . I loved the wine and cheese in the afternoon it was a very nice touch and very welcoming. We checked in early and the staff said we could have our room early. Very helpful with arranging transport and trips. I would highly recommend the hotel.
