Islanda Hideaway Resort offers beachfront accommodation on Klang Island, It takes approximately 45 minutes from Krabi International Airport to Islanda Hideaway Resort. The service from the staff was exceptional; they went the extra mile and were always friendly and efficient. I enjoyed the hotel, which truly is a hideaway from the busyness of Krabi Town and Koh Nang. The fresh seafood was delicious, and I loved having the Vongole, knowing the clams were collected from in front of the hotel. The accommodation was very comfortable, the pool superb, and there were so many places to sit and contemplate, drink cocktails or look over to the Krabi cliffs and islands, including Chicken Island, which we had visited the previous week on a four-island tour. The garden is colourful and lush, with orchids growing on the trees. Anyone wanting to get away from it all but still be within 20 minutes of Krabi Town should consider this resort. It would also be a wonderful place for a honeymoon, and I hope to visit again.
