We LOVED XIUXI, and indeed had a wonderful XIUXI. Staff are excellent, genuinely friendly and very helpful. Rooms are a good size and very well designed/thought out. Interior design throughout the hotel is also very nice, lots of texture, very Zen feel too. Breakfast is VERY GOOD it’s a set meal but honestly too much for us though we always finished everything. Am vegetarian and loved that they have that option. Anton’s favorite was the Hong Kong meal. The best mochi/buchi I have ever had too—filled with black sesame. Afternoon snack is offered in their coffee-tea bar, don’t skip this! The snacks and drinks are very good too. Location is quiet and a short walk to old town sights

Situated within 4.4 km of Chihkan Tower and 4.6 km of Tainan Confucius Temple, 寶格儷舍 features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tainan. Absolutely the most hospitable host I have ever come across, very friendly and patient to explain and share knowledge around the area. Room is very clean with modern interior and bathroom. 100% would recommend this place to anyone coming to Anping.

Boasting lake views, 日日和 features accommodation with balcony, around 5.1 km from Chihkan Tower. Have rarely met a host so helpful and kind. Everything is in pristine condition, and the breakfast was great. Very homely atmosphere. Very close to all the best places in Anping. Very good AC, fan, and hair dryer for those who know this important in Tainan.

Visited during the late summer and it was really easy to head back to the hotel for a break from the sun. 24hr tea / coffee and biscuits!

Host Vivi was very kind and professional. She does not speak English but she had a whole system with a translation app to provide a tour and explain the amenities in English - so clever! The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower.

This place was lovely! A great location in Anping, but it felt a world away, nestled in a garden. Despite being so close to everything, it was very quiet. The room had everything I needed and felt very nice.

Located 4.5 km from Chihkan Tower, Komorebi Souseki 樹沐漱石 安平民宿 offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The location was great. Super close to the historical Fort Zeelandia and there were many restaurants and food stands to choose from. Small alley ways were chill so my friends and I enjoyed walking a lot around there. They gifted us pottery experience which was fun. Love the tea experience they recommended at The Tea Space. Had a very lovely time around Anping. This place truly made the trip in Tainan so wonderful. The rooms, the yard and the gather room were all comfortable and clean. The stuffs were also very helpful! Highly recommended.
