Very nice and clean facility on the UT campus. 20-minute walk to downtown and the Colorado River. The room was immaculately clean and well-appointed, and it had an in room safe for valuables. Breakfast was great with a super buffet or a la Carte options. The location was easy to find and 2 minutes off hwy 35. The staff were friendly and helpful but a little too professional. I mean that they really wouldn't engage in friendly banter. They were pleasant, helpful, polite, and smiling, but I personally had the impression that We were just another guests.

This is a great hotel! Perfection is in every detail! Everybody is very helpful, everyday cleaning, amazing food and drinks, no extra payment, close to Convention center. The area is nice and close to everything, and the view from our room was beautiful. The room is set up with everything needed for a comfortable stay, probably even good enough for longer stay.

Hyatt Place Austin Downtown offers air-conditioned accommodation in Austin. The staff was great and the room was spacious and cozy! I loved the location, and the breakfast was quite nice - I just wish there were more vegan options - but we managed :)
