This hotel is located at the top of Dupont Circle just minutes from the historical landmarks of Washington, D.C. Beautiful interior, excellent central location for walking and exploring, the staff went above and beyond and the room was quaint. I also liked that there was a window in the shower that could be opened a bit, so I could get some fresh air into the room. The bar (Doyle) was exquisite. I had the best crab cake of my life and it was a very “happening” spot.

I recently stayed at Royal Sonesta, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The moment I pulled up, I was greeted warmly by Ben, the bellhop, who was exceptionally helpful and set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained. It felt like a true home away from home. The turn-down service was a fantastic touch—everything was thoughtfully arranged and ensured my comfort. What truly stood out was the staff’s friendliness and professionalism. Everyone I interacted with went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests. Nestled between historic embassies and enchanting row homes, The Ven at Embassy Row, Washington, DC is located in the Dupont Circle district of Washington D.C. I loved everything about The Ven, especially the staff! I initially booked a three-night stay but ended up extending it to two weeks. The location is perfect, nestled among beautiful embassy buildings and just a five-minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station. Front Office Manager Julie was incredible—she truly made me feel at home and well cared for. Jin and Ryan at the front desk were also exceptionally helpful. Having stayed at hotels around the world, I can confidently say I have never encountered such a friendly and welcoming staff. My room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with a lovely street view. The Ven truly became my home away from home, and I will always stay there whenever I visit DC!
