BON Hotel Bloemfontein Central is conveniently located in the heart of Bloemfontein’s business centre and only 9.5 km from the Bram Fischer International Airport. A pleasant surprise! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgable reception staff, they helped me to find public transportatation towards Lesotho, organised a driver early in the morning to the bus terminal, and made sure that I got a breakfast to go (you can even chose from 4 versions of breakfast to go). The room was spacious and clean with a large and comfy bed, a nice piece of contemporary art, and a personal welcome note. Also, despite load shedding, the hotel's generators assured light, internet and all services around the clock. The restaurant is as well fine with freindly staff. While the building itself isn't a beauty, the comitted management and staff make it very worthwile and pleasant to stay.
