The good
🙂 I got a bed and an ensuite shower
The bad
😐 Overprized
The ugly
☹️ No smooth check in, passport has been taken and left alone and unattended in an area where monkeys had access 😱
☹️ No key was given to me upon check in, so when leaving the room to get my passport back, I couldn't enter again (receptionist disappeared in the meantime)
☹️ "Things" I should wait for to be done in 10 minutes after arrival and for check in ... don't know, what things and after waiting a few times 10 minutes, still nothing the whole afternoon. Time wasted for nothing.
☹️ hours after "check in", finally an english speaking employee knocked my door. I was told, to download the gostops app that also works as your room key.
☹️ I really dislike to be obliged doing something (here: downloading an app with any authorizations I will never use after)

OM Villas in Varanasi is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The property itself is stunning—luxurious, spacious, and impeccably clean. It’s a serene oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Varanasi. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home!
Glamping (glamorous + camping) sites are where you can camp with modern and luxurious facilities. If you are looking for a getaway in nature but don’t want to give up your luxuries, this is ideal for you.
Reasonable and worth every penny! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ajnara and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! This spacious Homestay is perfect for large families, groups of friends, or even corporate retreats.
It comes with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas. The kitchen is fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals for a crowd.
The location is also ideal, with plenty of parking space and easy access to public transportation.
It's a true gem that feels like a home away from home!
The room is comfortable, air-conditioned and without power outage. The price is reasonable. There is a public space. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area about a 10-minute walk. The owner is very nice and provides a lot of travel information. Recommended
I loved my stay in Moustache. First of all, i loved the proximity with Assi Ghat in a quiet street ! I also loved the common area which made it easy to meet people, as a solo traveller that was important to find such a space ! The room in itself was very comfy. And last but not least , the people who worked there were trully lovely and willing to help !
Lovely hosts who treated a girl in india for the first time like family. Hosted by someone who used to be a guide. Freshly prepared breakfast every day when you want. Comfy beds. Nice little space on the rooftop to chill out. More on the budget side so don't expect hotel standard accommodation. Close to ghats.
Great location on the Ganges. The room had a water view. Decent sized spacious room with air conditioning and fans. Lots of bottled water provided. Comfy bed (which is the most important thing). Hot shower. Nice food in the restaurant off the menu. Ajay and his friendly staff were awesome. Able to organise day trips and transport too.
Our six-day stay at Stay Daily Inn home stay in Varanasi Cantt. was fantastic and homely! The place is located in a well connected and posh area.
Our room was comfy, with an attached balcony and a clean bathroom. The caretaker was super friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and even cooking tasty meals for us (Note: the meals and beverages cost extra).
Overall, Stay Daily Inn home stay gave us a cozy and welcoming stay. It's a great choice if you're visiting Varanasi!
Located within a few steps from the Ganges, on one of the many narrow lanes that crisscross the old city, the guest house is a comfy retreat after a day's sightseeing. The staff were welcoming, helpful and attentive. They arranged taxis and tuk tuks for trips, recommended places to visit and during the Dewali celebrations included us in the festivities. We had a great stay and would highly recommend the guest house to anyone wanting to experience life in Varanasi's old city.
