It’s short 3 storey. 1st floor toilets & entrance, 2nd floor is the outdoor dinning & etc, 3rd floor is the room. 3) Super spacious, interior nicely done & lights were able to dim to make the place more cozy. 4) Quiet neighbourhood 5) The beautiful view of Mount Fuji, especially in the morning sipping coffee

The staff are all nice, helpful, and cheerful. Facilities are all amazing and thoughtful. The entire villa/camping unit is spacious. We especially like their bed and pillows, not soft, making us sleep like a baby. We stayed for two nights. They also changed dinner menu, which was very thoughtful and very appreciated too!

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We payed for the BBQ which was a great experience, the food was yum and they give you clear instructions on how to cook (great for us as we can’t cook LOL). The hut we slept in, was so cozy, warm and very clean. Definitely our favorite place so far. Highly recommend.

The unit has 4 beds. Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sugakuso is located in Yamanakako, 19 km from Fuji-Q Highland and 22 km from Lake Kawaguchi. We stayed for 2 nights from April 5, 2025. Luckily we got a big room with a great view of lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It’s a Japanese style room. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the bldg adjacent to the main building where the shared bath (one for men and one for women) located. The shared bath has 5 showers and a rectangular tub for onsen (water temperature is very hot in the onsen). There are 3 toilets on the 2nd floor in our bldg shared among 4 rooms. The toilet rooms are very small. There are 2 sinks next to the toilet rooms. Everything was very clean and functional. There’s a big refrigerator and hot water dispenser with tea & coffee right outside our room. The owners are very nice and kind. They don’t speak English but used a phone with translation app so there’s no problem communicating. Highly recommended to order both breakfast and dinner here. Pay cash in advance when order with the owners. 1000 JPY for breakfast and 2000 JPY for dinner for one person. The food was plentiful, delicious and gorgeously displayed. There are steps away from Hirano beach where we took many beautiful photos of the sunrise on Mt Fuji. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hirano bus stop.
