Our stay at North Lagoon was exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The property is absolutely charming, with breathtaking views of the lagoon. The hotel restaurant was a highlight of our visit, serving delicious Moroccan cuisine. Another standout feature was the kiteboarding school, our lessons were so much fun. I strongly recommend!

Really enjoyed the food and the vibes - awesome staff. Compared to the other (much bigger) places in the area, this is a much more personal experience and it is much easier to connect to the other guests. E.g., they organized a bonfire for the guest - and the guests were actually attending (one of the other bigger places I stayed at had similar events, but no one showed up). They also helped me launch and land - without trying to bait you into taking classes. Shared bathrooms were very clean. Tent was simple and spacious - perfect for me. I will definitely stay at Desert Sands again on my next trip to Dakhla.
