We loved everything!
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel was conveniently located with short walking distance to the buses which ran regularly and it was a quick 15/20 min journey to the middle of Innsbruck. The dining area was lovely and welcoming, we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast on offer each morning and we preferred to eat dinner here each night too. The staff were absolutely exceptional, particularly Andy who remembered small details and really made our trip special. We will most certainly be staying here again when we return to Innsbruck!

We could see that a stay at Römerhof has the potential to be very pleasant, but unfortunately, our experience fell short. Our double room was only prepared for one person, with a single blanket and one set of towels. While we did receive a €20 compensation the next day, it didn’t make up for a very uncomfortable night. We arrived at 21:20 and found that the staff had already left, though they had thoughtfully arranged for our key to be available at the door.
The breakfast was excellent—beautifully presented and definitely the highlight of our stay.
However, the reception was noticeably cold and indifferent. It left us unsure whether the attitude was general or something more personal, but in either case, it made us feel distinctly unwelcome.
