Offering a 300-yard long private lakeshore at Lake Locarno, the luxurious Castello del Sole features a spacious wellness center with a gym, tennis courts and a golf course.

There is not much to say about this place it is probably on of the best places to stay at the Lago Maggiore. Everything is perfect. Very friendly and professional staff.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites.

A hotel stay I won't soon forget. Phenomenal service from start to finish. Breakfast was outstanding, the room and bed comfortable, even with a "bespoke pillow menu" (!) Hotel staff went above and beyond to connect us with a local bike shop to facilitate a specific rental. (Wonderful cycling scenery, to boot) It's a pricey stay obviously, but feel we got what we paid for.

    The property has a beautiful garden with a fire place and is entirely fenced up hence a good option for families with kids or/and dog. The house is very nice and has everything one need with a super large kitchen and living room. It is situated close to the lake perfect for some ling walks around the nearby golf course too.

    My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at Garni Golf! Very friendly atmosphere, clean and nicely arranged room, tasty breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect for visiting Ascona and also just a short walk away from a bus stop to go and visit Locarno. Highly recommended!

    perfect location next to ascona golf course. very pretty terrace for drinks and breakfast. simple but clean rooms. deluxe rooms with renovated bathroom and glimpse of the lake. Verena was very Kind and helpful. felt like coming home. to be recommended for a simple and relaxing stay. 20 minutes walk to ascona promenade.

    Very nice forthcoming staff! Excellent breakfast. Very nice ambiance with a fantastic inner garden where the meals could be enjoyed. Very good food! Great location in the calm sporty side of Ascona, such as the golf course, the public beach and the Lido. 10 min walk to the center. Free parking. I will come here again.
