Excellent location in countryside but rather isolated. Excellent bar/food abc gourmet restaurant.
This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts.
Located less than an hour’s drive from Dublin, this hotel provides a luxury retreat away from the stresses of everyday life and is perfectly located for exploring south-east Ireland.

Spa was good, breakfast was very good though menu could have included some more options. Staff were absolutely excellent.
Want to step out of your hotel and directly onto a beautiful golf course? That's exactly what you’ll get when you stay at a golf hotel. On top of easy access to the course, they often feature luxury facilities like gourmet restaurants, health spas, and high-end shops. Golf hotels are often set in beautiful locations, so lots of different outdoor activities are right at hand, too.
Nice place for a short escape, room very clean, bed wasn’t really comfortable, bathroom had all the toiletries, the little garden outside our room was nice with a good view to the golf course. The spa was really good, nice sauda, steam room and the hot-tub was just amazing! Breakfast was good, but the Straberry Tree restaurant was fantastic, I highly recommend this restaurant, organic ingredients and a mix of flavours that will blow your mind. Staff very polite and helpful.
Breakfast choice was excellent although we only had a continental. Very friendly & helpful hosts & in a beautiful place especially if you enjoy golf. just minutes walk to the course.
we both really enjoyed the dining experience at the Strawberry restaurant & Armento Italian restaurant on site. Arnolds bar is nice but as the place is not close to a village, we felt a little music would have made a big difference to the overall experience.
We also enjoyed the golf course & spa facilities & the grounds.
Well its easier to say what we didnt like! An amazing place. Restaurants, rooms, scenery, golf course, just amazing. So glad i chose this for our last two nights in Ireland.
