The hotel location and the decor in the main areas is fabulous. All of the staff were young but professional, courteous and helpful on all interactions. We stayed here less than two years ago and I found the paint work, carpets on route to the hotel rooms looked worn and needed a facelift, also in the bedroom whilst the beds and seating were great quality the paint work and cupboard ( one damaged ) were not up to standard. I feel when you’re paying for a luxury hotel, this type of detail needs to be on point. Bar food and breakfast were fabulous cannot fault this.

Room was spacious, comfortable, bright & clean. Breakfast was delicious, everything you could wish for. Fabulous location, within easy reach of everything, beach, shops, train etc Staff were helpful & very pleasant.

The Marine Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the beach and has rooms with views over Dublin Bay.

The hotel Is clearly understaffed. There was no one on reception for long periods of time. Tables in the restaurant were left uncleared. We were left waiting for housekeeping for a long time when a bed was missing from our room.

Room was terrible. Very tiny for 2 people and location was furthest away from main reception, especially since I booked room 8 months ago. Very noisy room other side with 3 guys in it all night. No security around hotel. Room was stifling hot and no radiators to turn off. We couldn't open windows because outside was a flat roof top that 2other rooms opened on to. 2 in the room and only towels for 1.
