Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine. The friendliness of our reception. The helpfulness of the owners, the rooms, the location, and the food. We also thought the Gasthof was good value for money.. If we did this trip again. The Gasthof Haselberger would be the first place we would book to stay.

Surrounded by vineyards, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Göttweig Abbey and 10 minutes from the centre of Krems. The room is large and comfortable. The most amazing feature is its restaurant. The meal we had there is simply the best during our three-week trips around four countries. You also need to try the wine from their own vineyard. People from Vienna come here often just for a meal. Excellent!

Offering direct views of Melk Abbey, Hotel Restaurant zur Post is located right in the centre of Melk. It offers a sauna, free Wi-Fi, and a free bicycle hire. We were very impressed with the hotel, breakfast was excellent, probably the best in all places we've visited in term of variety and quality. We had dinner twice there also and food was very tasty. Truly one of the best place we stayed in our trip in Austria!

The sleeping pods are fitted with sockets and lighting, and good quality bedding, while pull-down curtains provide an extra layer of privacy.

The room was very clean and spacious. Bed was really comfortable. The bed was two single beds together as one double bed, so it was good for two people. Nice breakfast as well.

The atmosphere of chill and relaxing. - The sitting room designed and arranged like a spa-lounge with a sauna rooms, wooden bath tub, shower and a deck chairs. You can use it all the time. - There is a cosy terrace outside the house to have a breakfast or a late dinner with the candles. By the way the breakfast was absolutely amazing, served with a big love.
