Everything just surpassed all our expectations. Especially our host Frederic - he was one of the nicest most hospitable hosts we've ever encountered. We honestly didn't want to leave. The view from the balcony was spectacular, the apartment is spacious and cozy, very well-designed by Frederic himself. And the food in the restaurant downstairs is marvellous. I will return back to stay here for sure. You know when you like something so much, that you want to share it with the whole world? That's the deal with this Vieux Chalet - they deserve all the recognition and success possible!

Gasthof zum Schlüssel asub Ueberstorfis, 17 km kaugusel Berni raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on terrassiga majutusruumid, tasuta eraparkla ja restoran. Such a lovely hotel! Really enjoyed it and the staff is so nice. Room was big, with a small kitchen area and a decent sized bathroom. The location might not be ideal if you are not travelling by car but the bus stop is near by so it’s doable. There are also various activities for children which was very nice.

Great bedding with huge bed, kettle, tea and coffee, spacious bathroom. 5 minutes fron the théâtre and easy free parking. Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit, cereal and delicious croissants. Really recommend a stay here.

Amazing location, super cosy and functional apartment right in the old town (hence the name 😉) My only regret is that we didn't stay more than 1 night to take in more of the town. I am very much planning to return here in the future!

We are crushed that our visit was so short. The hosts are the friendliest, nicest folks we've ever met. They were there to welcome us with mint tea when we drove up, and spent ages walking us through all the amenities of their wonderful apartment and community. They look after even the smallest detail -- they even closed the blinds on one of the windows so the chocolate the put on the bed didn't melt! They pointed us to the best spots to go for mountain views (the local reservoir) and country-road running (with possible 3k, 4.5k and 6k routes drawn on a color-coded map) and answered every question we could come up with. The room itself is tremendous -- a freestanding one-room structure tucked into the garden below their house. It's super private, but has views of the hills, fields and mountains beyond.

Huge apartment with everything you need. clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting. Only there for one night but would certainly return for longer. Caroline made us feel very welcome.

Situated 7.9 km from Forum Fribourg, Le Relais du Château Monney offers 4-star accommodation in Cournillens and has a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Owner, manager welcome’s you himself. Breakfast fresh, very good with some local produce and background.
