Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.

Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome! The view is amazing. The hotel is quiet, the room was incredible and clean and everything was thought of. the beds were so comfortable. the balcony was incredible to sit on. Breakfast is great, dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious. I just loved this hotel and can't wait to return.

The hotel is located in a small village on a place in a nostalgic building. There is a nice courtyard and the hotel has also a resuarant, where the breakfast is served. The 3- or 4-bed room consisted of 2 separate rooms, divided through curtains. The first room was bigger than the second and we had a private bathroom, which was outside of the sleeping rooms, due to the architecture of the building. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the rich breakfast. There is a parking lot for guests (which is a little bit hidden, when you arrive from the street). This place is good for a rip with a car, visitng that region and the Maggia valley.
