The cottage was perfectly set up for visitors--it had everything we needed and it was super clean. We enjoyed borrowing the bicycles and exploring the quiet country roads; it was also an easy drive by car to Mons Klint (cliffs) and some cute towns. It's a tiny home, so space is limited, but the back deck overlooking the fields made it feel like a bigger property. It was one of my favourite parts of our holiday in Denmark.

We really enjoyed spending time in the garden, surrounded by bees (the host is a beekeeper and makes amazing honey), blooming flowers and Pixie, the friendliest dog. Morten know the island by heart and can provide lots of tips and recommendations. Would love to come back and do a night sky tour of Mon.

The property has an outdoor dining area. It is a wonderful old separate building on the property and it is the only rental apartment there. The kitchen and shower are on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a living room and a sleeping area with two very comfortable twin beds. The climate inside is excellent. The kitchen looks like it has everything you need to eat there. The owners, who live in the main house, are very friendly and helpful and they probably can give you anything you might need but forgot to take with you. It is located in the center of the wonderful little village on the island of Nyord. There are some shops nearby, which also sell local food and drink products and handicrafts, also two excellent restaurants, of which one is pet-friendly and the other serves breakfast and dinner. The island is beautiful and interesting to explore.

Møn Golf Club is 4.5 km away. Parking is free on site. Amazing breakfast, the little pods were comfy but I can imagine they can feel very small if the weather is not good. Very good location close to the beach, bathroom is a short walk into the main building, there are two toilets and one shower to share with the other pod.
