Fun Cadillac themed decor and amazing 1950s American diner where we had breakfast. The two rooms we had were great, very comfortable and with good sea views. Would go back.

Situated in Helensburgh and with Glasgow Botanic Gardens reachable within 38 km, Rooms Above Sugar Boat features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

Located in Iona, Isle of Mull region, Martyrs Bay Rooms is situated 600 metres from Iona Abbey. Lovely clean room with a great hot shower and delicious breakfast of scones, yogurt, and fruit. Beautiful view from the breakfast room. Rooms were steps from the ferry landing. Easy stroll to Abbey.

Very friendly owner that directed to delicious evening restaurants and gave us wonderful directions to reach a shortcut path downtown. We felt very safe and welcomed.
