Despite having seen the photos and having read the reviews of other customers, I was amazed at the beauty of the whole place when I got there. The hotel is located in a wonderful spot by the shores of Loch Awe, yet the first impression of elegance and beauty you get is outmatched by the interior of the hotel and the professional and caring staff. Rooms are awesome and totally comfortable, while the halls of the hotel include dining rooms, a lounge bar and halls with sofa and boardgames, complete with a billiard hall. Just few meters outside the hotel a beautiful spot is set by the lake, with armchairs and brazers, a fairy garden with fairy dwellings overlooks the area and a private pier awaits curious customers over a lovely ironwrought archway covered in ivy. To put it in few words, this is a place you cannot miss if you plan to enjoy your time in the Argyll area. In my opinion, this is the perfect place to live an unforgettable experience.

Situado en Helensburgh y con Glasgow Botanic Gardens a 38 km, Rooms Above Sugar Boat cuenta con una terraza, habitaciones para no fumadores, WiFi gratis y un bar. Very clean, extremely comfortable bed. 5 star ambience. Food excellent in restaurant. Staff great customer care. Booked again.

Ubicado en Iona, a 7 minutos a pie de Iona Abbey and Nunnery, Martyrs Bay Rooms tiene WiFi gratis y vista al mar. Me gustó todo, las habitaciones, su limpieza y sobre todo la amabilidad de Sandra y Jill fue de diez. El desayuno también estuvo muy bien con scones caseros de los que dimos buena cuenta. Además el alojamiento se encuentra justo al lado del muelle del ferry por lo que es muy cómodo. Justo enfrente del B&B está el restaurante y pudimos saborear unos deliciosos mejillones y fish and chips. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Con vista al mar, Burnbank BnB está ubicado en Tobermory y tiene WiFi gratis. Terrific BnB with a friendly host. Breakfast was also top notch. Although no dedicated parking the street parking was very easy and close to BnB.

You really feel that the host puts lots of attention to make the stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The view on the Oban bay is fantastic.

Although it's located on a hill, a little walk never killed anybody. 😉 A private parking spot is available, and a light breakfast—coffee, toast, and little jams—is included in the price.
