I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

John exceeded our expectations in what a BnB experience entails. He was warm, welcoming, and thorough- he talked us through the town, things to see and do, and showed us to our BEAUTIFUL room! John has great taste in decor, overall very mindful of providing guests with the best stay in Tobermory! Breakfast was delicious and I loved how the menu says where the food is coming from. Truly, every detail of our stay was perfection! We will be back as soon as we can!

The main thing is the beautiful views of each rooms. The apartment is at the top floor which involve quite few stairs. It is not a brand new renovated apartment but still nicely decorated. The location is quite good in terms of walkway along the lake.

The apartment is well stocked with supplies like tea, coffee, toiletries, etc. Plenty of space for up to 6 people. We loved it and would come back again.
