The place was spotless and the breakfast was out-of-this-world tasty. A perfect combination of top-tier hospitality, cleanliness, and cuisine. Highly recommended!

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. Very good place, we will recommand it

Deirdre and Greg are the most welcoming hosts. The room was clean, especially the bathroom which was newly renovated and had plenty of space, extra tables for the stuff. The bed was amazing! King size which we didn’t expect and fine mattresses. Breakfast was beyond delicious!!! Freshly cut mango, orange and fruit salad. Plenty of cereals, a big menu from which you could choose freshly made Irish breakfast choices. Awesome! We even got trip advices on our way to them. Very helpful!

The location is very noce and great care is given fo all details to make it a great stay. Awesome breakfast and very friendly owner/staff.

A lovely warm welcome to this beautiful small B&B in a wonderful location. The view of the sea just across the road was amazing even on a rainy day. Frederique asked what we would like for breakfast the evening before and in the morning the breakfast was excellent. She also gave us some recommendations for restaurants and pubs in Clifden. The room was very comfortable and perfectly clean. I would love to come back here and see the Sky Road again.

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town. Very comfortable room. Well equipped. Everything worked. Excellent internet. Digital TV was a nice bonus. Wonderful breakfast. Host was very helpful and welcoming.

She welcome us very well and give us good tips for the restaurant closed by. The room was really cleen, with good equipment and big space. We even get a personal bathroom (reservation was for a shared bathroom). The only thing that could be better was the bathroom flush (very weak) but it seems that it often occurs in Ireland. Many thanks we will keep very good memories of this night

The thatched house is beautiful, very cozy inside with all the amenities needed. The surroundings are breathtaking ! The host left a Guiness bread loaf out of this world. I was remote working for a few days and the WiFi connection was great.
