This lakefront hotel is a 2-minute walk from the pier in Varenna. The historic 19th-century building features a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Como. We liked absolutely everything - from location, authentic vibes, amenities to very friendly, caring staff and very delicious home made breakfast. This stay at hotel Olivedo made our trip much more exciting and pleasant.

Thomas was very helpful and easy to communicate with upon arrival. He allowed us a later check-out wich made our stay even more relaxed. The location was great: a nice view from the balconies, near to the center yet quiet at night.

The hosts are amazing, they treat you like family, their home is beautiful. The view from the room is so romantic and breakfast was superb.

The apartment is absolutely lovely with a yard shaded by winegrapes in a quiet street with a bus nearby. The owner is charming and very helpful. Thanks to her we went to the best places like Verona and did the most interesting activities.

Spectacular view from the room, from breakfast, from the jacuzzi. It was one of the few accomodations that were better in reality than the booking photos. Confu beds and pillows.

The location was perfect with beautiful views, and all the comforts of home. The rooms were so comfortable, with lovely beds and bedding. The kitchen, living and dining areas were well stocked and very comfortable. We were able to make breakfast every morning and walk to everything within 10-15 minutes. We loved walking into the heart of Bellagio each day. We even explored a beautiful stone walled walkway that was a like a secret pathway down to the water. The apartment also has access to safe parking onsite (with a locked gate in the evening). We had one question during our stay and received an extremely fast response from the owner. We would stay here again and again!

Peter & Wietske's home has been meticulously renovated to preserve the architectural and artistic beauty of the past. It was an amazing place to stay. The thoughtful design of our room, which included a very lovely shower and vanity, which is modern but in keeping with the rest of the room. Our bed was very comfortable, I could have stayed in bed all day just watching the world pass by through the beautiful shuttered widows. Where the vista is of the other side of the valley and onto the mountains. Our private toilet was across from our room. This is a smart and functional feature of an older building as it maximises the space in a room. The breakfast is fantastic. We were spoilt for choice, and Pieter will whip up and omlete or eggs with bacon on request. Out in the garden in the afternoon with a drink from the bar was a great way to reflect on our day before a short walk up to the local tavern for dinner. The food and service were fantastic. Peter and Wietske are wonderful hosts and will ensure your stay at Villa il Maiale Bianco will be one you will want to repeat again. Because we definitely will.

Rustico Lago di Como b&b státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með svölum, í um 11 km fjarlægð frá Villa Carlotta. Það er sérinngangur á gistiheimilinu til þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á... Friendly hosts who were very helpful and accommodating! Cute location, very authentic. If you are looking for a break from touristy Como, then this is the place to go!!
